- How long are the classes?
- Floral and Landscape classes are normally 4-5 hours long.
- Wildlife classes are normally 7 hours long.
- How often are the classes given?
- Classes are usually conducted 5 - 10 times monthly in the
Gainesville area, depending on Mary's International &
out-of-town Teacher Training schedule. For an overall view

- Where are classes held?
- In Gainesville, Florida area, classes are held at Craft stores, Senior
Centers, Community Centers, etc. Classes, seminars
and demonstrations can possibly be arranged at other
locations per request. Click on Contact Mary in
navigation bar at top and near bottom of each page.
- How are the classes conducted?
- All students paint the same painting.
- Mary teaches her classes in a very easy-to-understand,
step-by-step method. Students are shown how to paint a feature and
the students then paint that step while Mary oversees their
progress. Plenty of individual attention helps the student
progress very quickly. Even though you never painted before, in your very first class with your own
talents, you complete a ready-to-frame painting that you are proud
to take home.
- What is the cost of taking a class in the Gainesville,
Florida area?
- Class tuition and supply fees are listed on the Class

- What are the required supplies for taking a class?
- The three types of paintings taught (florals, landscapes, &
wildlife) each require different paints and brushes, because the
technique for each type is very different. Therefore, the supplies
list depends on the type of painting you choose.

- How do I sign up for a Bob Ross Class?
- Choose a class from the schedules on Class
Dates/Photos pages (on navigation bars near the top and bottom
of each page) and sign up at the appropriate location. Many
classes fill quickly, so be sure to sign up early. If a
desired class is full, please ask to signup as "standby"
and you will be called if there are cancellations or a repeat
class.
